“I have lived in more than thirty different countries in the world. I like to know as little as possible about a country before I go there, so that I can get the full experience when I arrive. I have had plenty of different jobs over the years. For example, I worked for the World Bank and for a development organisation in Indonesia. I also worked as a professor in philosophy in Brussels and Paris. After my retirement I decided to go to the school of photography. Nowadays I work as a photographer for the local newspaper in Sucre (Bolivia). In Sucre I have lived on top of the hill, for almost two years now. The house was built for me, in Indian style. It has an amazing view and I love to watch the sunset with a good glass of wine.”
